31th Erbe-Run: Running for Doctors without Borders

The runners ran 41.000 kilometers for our social partners. Arbeitskreis Leben received a donation of 10,334.80 € and Doctors without Borders 10,258.69 € from our management.

Global Moves

The traditional Tübingen Erbe Run is no longer geographically demarcated. Since the introduction of an additional, virtual version this past year, the sports event has achieved global reach.

Back to body and life

Because our company supports the Tübingen Art Museum, our employees got the opportunity to take a guided tour provided by Curator Dr. Nicole Fritz.

For the first time in many years, music is heard again in the courtyard of Hohentübingen Palace with the "erbe concerts".

Support and not just sympathize

Western Germany was struck by a flood disaster in the summer. Our company decided to make a donation of 20,000 euros to Samaritan’s Purse e. V.. Many people also offered their active support, including our Chief Financial Officer Daniel Zimmermann.

Smile Cambodia

Twice a year, an honorary medical team from “Doctors of the World” travel to Phnom Penh to provide advanced training for local medical personnel.

Earthquake relief Turkey and Syria

We donated €50,000 to our partner Samaritan's Purse to help in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria.

WE WANT TO SEE MOUSTACHES!

November is Men’s Health Month. We will donate 25 Euros to the Movember Foundation for every moustache grown by one of our employees, supporting research projects on men’s health.

Millions of people in Ukraine are suffering from the war. The fighting and destruction have forced countless numbers to leave their homes. No one can say at this point how long the fighting and suffering will continue. But we are not looking the other way.

Influenza vaccinations – a gift for you all

Our enterprise offers all employees a free-of-charge influenza vaccination.. e team at the reception desk in Tübingen schedules appointments before the flu season begins.

Health week in review

To enable our employers to engage with health issues more intensively, we staged another Health Week at Erbe this past November. Thanks to this year’s partner – AOK Health Insurance – and our company physician Katharina Busch, we were able to offer check-ups and carry out information events.

Making paper out of trees

Eucalyptus makes it possible

Eucalyptus trees are cool. Koalas, who spend their entire lives in the foliage of these green giants, are not the only ones who know this. The fast-growing wood can be used to produce excellent paper.

Plug and operate

All automobile manufacturers are now looking to electric current instead of fuel. We have set up a large number of parking spots, each with their own charging station, for cars on our company premises in Tübingen.

Sustainable media production

Thanks to a compensation contribution, our enterprise can publish Erbe life as well as all product and application brochures in a completely climate-neutral way.
