With FiAPC® plus, control isn’t just a feature - it’s the essence of precision

Precision starts with control.
FiAPC® plus.

In electrosurgical procedures, control means confidence, consistency, and enhanced outcomes. Our new FiAPC® plus probes are designed to give you more control over your procedure, so you can focus on delivering the best possible treatment for your patients.

Designed for a controlled and consistent tissue effect

With FiAPC® plus, we put control over the tissue effect into your hands, so you can choose the best possible treatment for your patients.

PRECISION THROUGH
CONTROLLED
PERFORMANCE

The innovative tip design and thermally isolated electrode enable more homogeneous argon gas ignition, supporting stable plasma performance and giving you the accuracy and confidence you need in every procedure.

Thanks to optimized beam characteristics - featuring a long, precise and focused argon beam - and proven mode settings, FiAPC® plus consistently delivers reliable and reproducible results; whether you’re treating a small lesion or a broader area.

RIDE THE ERBE WAVE WITH
OUR UNIQUE APC MODES

preciseAPC®

preciseAPC® is used for coagulation or ablation, independent of the distance between the probe and tissue, particularly in the low energy range and for thermosensitive areas. For use on thin-walled structures, to facilitate coagulation with minimal thermal insult.

forcedAPC®

forcedAPC® is a fast and effective APC mode with ignition assistance for reliable and reproducible plasma ignition in an ever-changing environment of resistance variables. While more superficial in nature, long activation periods, and/or higher effect settings can achieve significant and deep ablation of tissue.

pulsedAPC fast & slow

pulsedAPC® delivers pulses of plasma in either slow or fast pulses, resulting in a controlled and generally more superficial tissue effect. For hemostasis of diffuse areas of bleeding, devitalization, and tissue reduction (e.g. in thermosensitive areas, thin-walled structures).

In control with FiAPC® plus. From start to finish.

Especially in long or complex cases, the reduced heat generation, enhanced flexibility and a high suction performance contribute to effective workflows, and thus more efficient procedures.

REDUCED TISSUE
STICKING FOR SMOOTHER
WORKFLOWS

Avoiding downtime and increasing continuity

  • The new tip design features a ceramic tip, a thermally isolated electrode, and a proprietary coating that lowers the distal tip temperature.
  • This helps to reduce tissue sticking and therefore cleaning of the probe – allowing for more continuous, uninterrupted interventions.
  • Less adhesion to target tissue coagulum can lower the incidence of rebleeds, supporting effective bleeding management.

WORKING IN RETROFLEXION
WITH EASE

Enhanced flexibility supports smooth navigation in complex anatomies:

  • Passes smoothly through the working channel of the endoscope even in retroflexion and complex anatomies.
  • The rounded, atraumatic ceramic tip is designed to glide gently along mucosal surfaces, supporting smooth articulation and precise alignment with target tissue.
  • New marking scheme enables closer positioning of the probe to the working channel, thus bringing the camera nearer to the target tissue. This results in a clear view of the target tissue.

HIGH SUCTION
PERFORMANCE FOR
ENHANCED EFFICIENCY

Faster, smoother workflows

  • With the tip extended outside the channel, the indwelling catheter is thinner, increasing the cross-sectional area by 15%. This especially allows for faster gas expungement, enhancing efficiency during procedures.

FOR EVERY SITUATION

The unique circumferential probe

The patented APC 360° Circumferential Probe™ delivers a complete 360° flow of argon gas, thus allowing for more control and flexibility with minimal manipulation of the probe required. As a result, the plasma stream is more easily directed at target tissue.

The tip architecture prevents direct contact of the active electrode when the probe is activated in-contact with the target tissue, potentially reducing the risk of unintentional deep thermal insult.
